The 2008 Southwest Shootout Tournament will be held July 5th - 7th. The Southwest Shootout, known as the Whataburger Shootout, will be held at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. This will ne an NCAA sanctioned event. There will be three divisions in the tournament with a maximum of 24 teams in each division. Four game guarantee for $400.00 per team. Early Bird special of $350.00 per team for those teams whose entry arrives before June 1, 2008. American Division - Consisting of players from no more than two high schools. National Division - Consisting of 15 & 16 Under Teams. Open Division - Will include graduating seniors.
ATTENTION! ALL coaches and teams must be registered with the NCAA before they will be allowed to play. Team coaches can go to the NCAA web site to submit their personal and team information. See the Coach Info Button on the left above. The NCAA web site can be reached via the following link - NCAA Registration Link !!! Follow the instruction for Team Registration. ATTENTION! ALL teams must fill out an Official Injury Waiver Sheet or you will not be permitted to play!!! Please click here for a copy of the form. Fill it out and send it in or bring it to the tournament. Prior to June 29th, you may fax it to 713-946-2227. Your team cannot play at all unless this form has been turned in to us...COMPLETED!!!
